"The Doors" was originally released back on January 4, 1967, and with songs like "Light My Fire," "Break On Through" and "Back Door Man," it was the springboard to success for the young psychedelic rock band. To this day, it remains one of the most influential rock albums in music history. Rolling Stone magazine lists it at number 42 of the 500 best albums of all time.

There is really no need to say anything more about the music. Through classics like "The End", (the movie "Apocalypse Now" inevitably comes to mind) , "Light My Fire" (the first single and at the same time also the first chart topper worldwide) or "Back Door Man" "The Doors" belongs without any doubt to one of the strongest Debut albums of all times.
