The new Silver Apples album "Clinging To A Dream", the first album in 19 years, features eleven new songs, was recorded at ChickenCoop Studios in Fairhope in Alabama and produced by Graham Sutton.

These new songs follow the tradition of pure and raw electro sounds combined with melodic poetics - just as they were in 1967 in the early days of Silver Apples. They represent 40 years of trying and refining this musical experiment.

The result is, as usual, surprisingly original. ChickenCoop Recordings is the Silver Apples' own label - and the same name Simeon Coxe, founding member of the band, gave his backyard studio in Alabama.

The release of the new album via Chicken Coop coincides with the re-release of "The Garden", "Beacon" and "Decatur" on all major formats, with "Beacon" and "Decatur" being available on vinyl for the first time.
