The second "proper studio album" by the controversial charmer  as a double LP in a gatefold cover on Audiolith.

The red Reclam artwork this time is of course a reference to the resounding success of the debut album "Bildungsbürgerprolls" (number 10 in the album charts, 2020). Pöbel MC has become an attention-grabbing one-off in the German rap universe. The Rostock-born artist has developed undreamt-of greatness in ambivalence: his brash battlerap attitude and biting punchlines always remain reflective, he always rises to the top, self-discipline clashes with hedonism, the educated proletarian unexpectedly shines on all stages.

"Dr. Pöbel" comprises twelve bass-heavy and restlessly driving tracks, produced by DJ Flexscheibe and Tombs Beats, and offers the arena for new adventures with an action attitude, but also vulnerable emotional reflection with autobiographical references. Political anger, post-reunification socialization damage, self-irony and much more converge on these twelve bangers in such a rhetorically athletic way that you are left with your mouth open. As a bonus, the album also contains the eight tracks from the "Pöbel Sports Tape II" EP, which have only been released digitally to date. An absolute highlight of German-language rap music!
