Widely inspired by the loss of a longtime friend and the lingering influence of a spirited and charismatic father, "Bloodline Maintenance" is the highly anticipated new and seventeenth studio album from three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer-songwriter/musician/producer Ben Harper. An immensely personal soul album and the first non-instrumental solo album of new songs since 2016.
On "Bloodline Maintenance," Harper applies the inventiveness of hip-hop to existing paradigms of soul, blues and jazz and reconfigures the genre, a new black Americana, continuing his long history as one of the strongest protest singers of his generation.
