Strut present the 1973 Egyptian jazz classic, "Egypt Strut" by Salah Ragab and the Cairo Jazz Band. Inspired by a Randy Weston concert in Cairo in 1967 that promoted pan-African unity, drummer Ragab, Czech jazz musician Eduard "Edu" Vizvari, and Hartmut Geerken of the Goethe Institute decided to form Egypt's first jazz big band.
