On March 19, Bilderbuch simultaneously released two new singles, "Nahuel Huapi" and "Daydrinking," once again showcasing their broad musical spectrum, which ranges from indie pop and post-punk to alternative R'n'B and hip-hop and can probably best be chalked up to art-pop. However, a new album from the Austrians was not in sight in 2021. Until now: Exactly one year later, on March 25, 2022, comes "Gelb ist das Feld".

The record comes three years after their last album "Vernissage My Heart," which reached number eleven in this country and number one in their home country

Bilderbuch was founded in 2005 as a school band in Upper Austria. It consists of singer Maurice Ernst, guitarist Michael Krammer, bassist Peter Horazdovsky and drummer Philipp Scheibl. To date they have released six albums, four of them on their band's own label "Maschin Records". All four reached number one or two in Austria and the top 20 in the charts in Germany. This makes them currently one of the most successful Austrian pop acts in the German-speaking world. "Gelb ist das Feld" is album number seven.
