Teenage Fanclub - Here - LP

For a long time it was quiet around Teenage Fanclub, a whole six years have passed since their last release. in 2016, when hardly anyone expected them, they suddenly show that they are still here. "Here" is the fitting title of their new album.

Norman Blake (guitar, vocals), Gerard Love (electric bass, vocals), Raymond McGinley (guitar, vocals), Francis MacDonald (drums) and Dave McGowan (keyboards) wrote twelve songs together and recorded them in McGinley's home studio in Glasgow and in the Vega studio in Carpentras, France, with sound engineer David Henderson. Here" was then mixed at Clouds Hill in Hamburg, and finally mastered at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios.

The result is an album that, how could it be otherwise, is a balanced mixture of alternative and indie rock as well as power pop. The content is about the only things that really count: Life and love. Teenage Fanclub already gave a foretaste with the two singles "I'm In Love" and "Thin Air".

"Here" is released on the band's own label PeMa.

Still here: With their new album "Here," Teenage Fanclub 2016 shows that indie rock fans can still count on them after almost 30 years.
