World Wide Worries lyrics describe the political in private. They deal with breaking free of normative relationship models, cheering for love detached from its purely romantic form, they criticize institutions and have a troubled relationship with society's view of the world. They are always looking for new melodies, ways to weave tapestries of sounds and layers. On stage they tune their guitars between songs and gaze at their own shoelaces - or pedalboards - completely in the sense of their genre self-designation postgaze.
